You might not know but milk is a healthy, low fat drink.
Whole milk contains less than 4% fat.
Semi Skimmed milk contains less than 2% fat.
‘the One’ contains 1% fat.
Skimmed milk is virtually fat free.*
* Skimmed milk has a fat content of between 0.1 - 0.3%.
Other Facts about milk
A glass of (200ml) of milk provides 37% of an adult’s daily calcium requirement. To get the same amount of calcium from a glass of milk, a young person would need to munch their way through more than 11 portions of spinach.
