Mercy Ships UK is once again running its Easter Breakfast fundraising campaign for Easter 2010. The Charity is appealing to people across the country to hold breakfast events to raise funds for its hospital ship, the Africa Mercy. Anyone can take part by holding an Easter Breakfast with friends at home, work, church, school…. the possibilities are endless.
Every penny raised from this Campaign will help save lives and provide hope and healing to thousands of people.

What is Mercy Ships?
Mercy Ships is an international charity that provides free medical care, relief aid, community development and long-term sustainable development in some of the world’s most poverty stricken countries, via its hospital ship The Africa Mercy and a number of land-based projects.
Over the last 30 years, Mercy Ships has visited 70 countries providing medical and humanitarian services valued at more than £450 million, directly transforming the lives of 2.2 million people. The charity has treated more than 360,000 people in village medical clinics, performed more than 40,000 surgeries, 200,000 dental treatments and completed over 1000 community development projects focusing on water and sanitation, education, infrastructure development and agriculture.
