Northampton 25th March

Wiseman gives it some Welly for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice!

Northamptonshire people are being asked to give it some ‘welly’ by taking part in the area’s first ever Wiseman Welly Walk to raise money for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

Now it’s the people of Northampton’s turn to pull on their wellies, go for a Sunday stroll and help Cynthia Spencer Hospice provide vital care for people nearing the end of their lives.

Wiseman Welly Walks are for the whole family, even the dog can come along. Participants pay a small entry fee (£15 for adults and £10 for children) which can include a pair of Wiseman’s famous cow print wellies.

And all entry fees and sponsorship monies raised from the Wiseman Welly Walk go straight to the hospice

The event takes place on Sunday 25th March, 2012 at Delapré Abbey. Anyone who is willing to walk the 5km course can take part.

The Hospice’s 24-hour, 365 day a year care is provided free of charge and although part-funded by the NHS, in 2012 the Hospice will need to raise around 30% of its running costs from voluntary donations.

Registration is now open and you can register a number of different ways:
